Dr. Alexander Marmureanu First in His Class at The California Festival of Speed

Dr. Alexander Marmureanu Wins His Class at the California Festival of Speed Porsche Club of America Racing.

Dr. Alexander Marmureanu is not only one of the best surgeons in California, but also an enthusiast of race cars and racing. His other hobbies are tennis and skiing.

Dr. Marmureanu recently put his Porsche 911 GT3 R to the test this last May, during The California Festival of Speed, which took place at California Speedway, California.

Porsche Club of America and the Porsche Owners Club recently hosted the 16th Annual California Festival of Speed at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. The 3-days festival had everything the fans expected and more: show cars, club racing, time trials, autocross, and also endurance racing.

During the festival, there were three sprint races and the 70-minute Enduro race.

Dr. Alexander Marmureanu piloted the #12 911 GT3R and finished first in class in both the sprint race and the enduro race.

According to, Bob Faieta, the Competition Motorsports Team Owner, Dr. Marmureanu did a really good job and achieved a great result.
